Allows counties without a newspaper published or located within the county to publish official notices on the official county website instead of in newspapers for various legal requirements.

Applies to notices for bond issuances, tax levies, public hearings, elections, budgets, county proceedings, solid waste management plans, and other county administrative matters across multiple sections of Mississippi Code.

Requires counties publishing notices online to take appropriate measures to ensure that online content is secure, verifiable, and accessible to the public.

Replaces or supplements existing newspaper publication requirements with website publication for counties that lack local newspaper options, maintaining the same notice duration and accessibility standards.

Effective July 1, 2025.
