Appropriates $166,138,842.00 from the State General Fund and $103,805,410.00 from the State Treasury to the Department of Public Safety for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026).

Authorizes 1,671 permanent positions and 74 time-limited positions for the department with restrictions on salary increases and escalations without new funding.

Allocates $4,312,602.00 for court assessment programs including Crime Stoppers, forensic laboratories, law enforcement training, and alcohol programs.

Re-appropriates $1,884,003.00 in capital expense funds for vehicles for Capitol Police, facility repairs, driver services system upgrades, and building improvements.

Includes $250,000.00 for a statewide human trafficking coordinator and $242,603.00 for school safety operations, along with performance targets for enforcement, driver services, forensics, training, and drug enforcement activities.
