Restores voting rights to Melvin Jackson of Monroe County, Mississippi, who lost the right to vote due to a 2001 conviction for false pretenses in Lowndes County

Jackson was sentenced on August 20, 2001, to three years probation through the Mississippi Department of Corrections

Legislature finds that Jackson has completed his sentence terms and conditions and has since conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen

Effective date is July 1, 2025
