Restores voting rights to Corderro Martin of Harrison County, Mississippi, who lost eligibility due to felony convictions

Martin was convicted of felony shoplifting on June 19, 2014 (sentenced to 10 years) and conspiracy to introduce a controlled substance on June 30, 2016 (sentenced to 5 years with 3 years 364 days suspended)

Martin was paroled on August 31, 2016 and discharged from the Mississippi Department of Corrections on September 8, 2020, having completed all sentence terms and conditions

Legislature finds that Martin has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen since his discharge

Effective date: July 1, 2025
