Honors the 100th birth anniversaries of Riley B. "B.B." King (born September 16, 1925) and Medgar Wiley Evers (born July 2, 1925), both legendary Mississippi natives.

Recognizes B.B. King's contributions to blues music, including his influential guitar style, 50+ recorded albums, 15 Grammy Awards, and status as one of the greatest guitarists of the 20th century.

Acknowledges Medgar Evers' civil rights work as the NAACP's first field secretary in Mississippi, his efforts against segregation and for voting rights, and his assassination on June 12, 1963.

Directs the resolution be presented to surviving descendants of both men and distributed to the B.B. King Museum, Mississippi Museum of History, Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, and other relevant institutions.
