Commends "Visit Mississippi" and the Mississippi Tourism Association for winning the "Past Presidents Award" at the 2025 Rose Parade in Pasadena, California on January 1, 2025, marking Visit Mississippi's first parade appearance.

Recognizes the award for outstanding innovation and use of floral and nonfloral materials; the float celebrated Mississippi's musical legacy by honoring Elvis Presley and B.B. King on what would have been their 90th and 100th birthdays.

Notes that Chapel Hart and Elvis tribute artist Brandon Bennett performed on the float, and the Jackson State University Sonic Boom of the South marching band preceded it along the parade route.
