Commends Lake Cormorant High School Lady Gators volleyball team and Head Coach Christina Morgan for winning their third consecutive MHSAA Class 6A State Volleyball Championship on October 17, 2024, defeating Hancock 25-21, 25-19, 25-13.

Records historic milestones including 39 wins in a season (most in program history), 5 losses (tied for fewest), and no losses to 6A opponents in the past two seasons.

Head Coach Christina Morgan achieved her 400th career win on September 10, 2024, and the team won the DeSoto County Tournament championship without losing to any county team.

Junior Outside Hitter Sofia Gonzalez named Miss Volleyball for 6A for second consecutive year and state championship game MVP; Senior Setter Dallas White and Senior Libero Jania Rose both set All-Time Career records in assists and digs respectively.

Resolution directs presentation of commendation to Head Coach Christina Morgan for the team and forwards resolution to LCHS Principal, DeSoto County Board of Education, and Capitol Press Corps.
