References Executive Order 14159 and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, which authorizes ICE to delegate specified immigration officer functions to state and local law enforcement under federal direction and oversight.

Describes three 287(g) operational models: Jail Enforcement Model for processing removable aliens with criminal charges, Task Force Model for limited immigration enforcement during routine police duties, and Warrant Service Officer Program for executing administrative warrants.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit the resolution to all Mississippi local law enforcement entities and make it available to the Capitol Press Corps.
