Recognizes WLBT newscaster Howard Ballou for receiving the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters Television Lifetime Achievement Award on March 14, 2025.

Honors Ballou's 30+ year career in broadcast journalism, including anchoring top-rated 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. newscasts at WLBT since 1984.

Commends his numerous awards including UPI Best Documentary for Tennessee Drunk Driving Legislation report, three First-Place Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters Awards, and 2016 AP Broadcasters First Place Best Documentary.

Notes Ballou's induction into Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2007 and his leadership roles with the National Association of Black Journalists and Society of Professional Journalists.

Directs the resolution be presented to Ballou, forwarded to WLBT, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
