Commends and congratulates Honorable William C. (Cham) Trotter III for his induction into the 2025 University of Mississippi School of Law Hall of Fame.

Recognizes Trotter's 50+ year legal career at Garrard & Trotter, PLLC in Belzoni, including service as Public Defender for Humphreys County starting in 1980 and as Municipal Judge in multiple cities from 1973 to retirement.

Honors his extensive service to the Mississippi Bar and legal profession, including roles as Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation, Past President of the Young Lawyers Division, Ethics Committee Chairman, and delegate to the ABA House of Delegates from 2003-2011 and 2014-2021.

Notes awards and recognition including the 1990 Distinguished Service Award, 2010 recognition as one of Mississippi's 50 leading attorneys, 2015 Law Alumnus of the Year, and 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Trotter, forwarded to the University of Mississippi School of Law Dean and The Mississippi Bar, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
