Commends and congratulates 17-year-old Addie Carver from Monticello as the first Mississippi representative to win the National "Miss Teen USA" title since 1987.

Recognizes Carver's achievements as founder and CEO of her own social media company and as a dance teacher and choreographer who teaches three to four nights per week.

Notes that Carver credits dance with saving her life after losing her father and plans to share the message that "dance knows no age, no background and no race."

Acknowledges that Carver is a high school senior planning to attend the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue a career in Marketing.

Extends the best wishes of the Senate to Carver for future success and directs the resolution be presented to her and her family.
