Group originated in Smithdale, Mississippi as "The Little Williams Brothers" and has recorded over 42 albums, including three Billboard Number 1 albums and 18 Top Ten Albums

Williams Brothers have performed at major venues including Madison Square Garden, the Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, and the White House in 2015 with Aretha Franklin for President Barack Obama

Group was inducted into the International Gospel Hall of Fame and received the Governor's Arts Awards Program's 2022 Lifetime Achievement in Music award

Directs that this resolution be presented to The Williams Brothers and made available to the Capitol Press Corps
