Mississippi Dental Association (MDA) was founded in 1875 with a mission to advance dentistry, promote oral health, and ensure high standards of dental care in Mississippi.

MDA represents over 1,000 dentists throughout the state and has contributed to improvements in oral health outcomes including increased access to preventive care and better management of dental diseases.

The association has advanced the dental field through commitment to continuing education, professional development, and ethical standards over its 150-year history.

Senate recognizes and commends the MDA on its 150th Anniversary and extends appreciation for its dedication to advancing dentistry and promoting oral health in Mississippi.

Resolution shall be presented to the Mississippi Dental Association and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
