Recognizes the Mississippi Songwriters Alliance for 15 years of cultural accomplishments including 15 festivals with over 200 songwriters performing in 10 venues and monthly Songs and Stories live shows at the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center.

Acknowledges creation of the Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019, which has inducted artists including Jimmy Buffett, B.B. King, Tammy Wynette, and Mac McAnally.

Highlights construction of the Mississippi Songwriters Performing Arts Center in Gautier with legislative funding, featuring the Hall of Fame and a state-of-the-art recording studio open to the public.

Recognizes educational and community programs including Mississippi Music Arts Therapy (MMAT) in local schools, MSA for Veterans therapy partnership with the VA in Biloxi, and an Ambassador Program providing free live music for Jackson County events.

Welcomes representatives of the Mississippi Songwriters Alliance to the Senate floor and directs the resolution be presented to the organization and forwarded to the Mississippi Arts Commission.
