Commends and congratulates Daniel Calcote for being selected as "Instructor of the Year" at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's Perkinston Campus.

Recognizes Calcote as a Visual Arts Instructor who has been employed at the college for 14 years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics from Mississippi State University and a Master of Fine Arts in ceramics from East Carolina University.

Notes the award was established by the Alumni Association to honor instructors based on teaching excellence, college service, community service, and professional development.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Calcote, forwarded to the President of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
