Commends DeSoto County Deputy Sheriff Brian Brock of Southaven for deliberately positioning his vehicle in the path of a wrong-way driver on Interstate 269 on March 4, 2025, to prevent a collision with other motorists.

Deputy Brock, age 35, was hospitalized after intentionally taking a head-on impact from the oncoming vehicle traveling at high speed in the wrong direction.

Deputy Brock's action saved the life of the motorist directly behind him, a physician who described the deputy as "an angel."

Directs the resolution be presented to Deputy Brock, forwarded to DeSoto County Sheriff Thomas Tuggle, and distributed to Capitol Press Corps.
