Appropriates $13,553,624.00 from the State General Fund and $28,630,000.00 from special funds to the Mississippi Department of Insurance for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026).

Allocates $11,212,940.00 for personal services including employee salaries, wages, and fringe benefits with authorization for 131 permanent employees and zero time-limited positions.

Provides specified allocations including $250,000 for the State Fire Marshal's Office, $3,000,000 for the Length-of-Service Award Program, $11,500,000 each for municipal fire protection and county volunteer fire department payments, and $2,000,000 for the Rural Fire Truck Matching Assistance Program.

Appropriates $7,500,000 from the Rural Fire Truck Fund, $130,000 from the Propane Education and Research Program Fund, and $500,000 from the Mississippi First Responders Health and Safety Trust Fund.

Establishes performance measures for licensing, agent certifications, customer assistance requests, fire investigations and inspections, and liquefied compressed gas safety; requires detailed accounting and reporting comparable to fiscal year 2025.
