Appropriates $33,590,882 from the State General Fund for salaries, travel expenses, and office expenses of district attorneys and assistant district attorneys for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026).

Appropriates an additional $489,367 from the State Prosecutor Compensation Fund for assistant district attorney salaries as authorized by Mississippi Code Section 25-31-5(1).

Allocates $1,682,000 specifically for district attorney office expenses and prohibits reimbursement of taxable meals incurred within district attorneys' geographical districts.

Designates $371,679 for two assistant district attorneys and one criminal investigator, $789,120 for criminal investigator salary increases, and $1,401,414 for district attorney and legal assistant salary increases (contingent on passage of HB 1509).

Requires district attorneys to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format as fiscal year 2025 and submit Five-Year Strategic Plans as mandated by law; takes effect July 1, 2025.
