Appropriates $1,616,176.00 from the State General Fund and $6,490,000.00 from special funds to the Mississippi Arts Commission for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).

Allocates $1,097,945.00 for personal services including employee salaries, wages, and fringe benefits, with authorized headcount of 11 permanent and 2 time-limited positions, including 1 new position in Program Management and Support.

Designates $1,490,000.00 from the Education Enhancement Fund for educator training, arts programs in public schools, miscellaneous grants, and the Whole Schools Initiative.

Appropriates $300,000.00 from the Capital Expense Fund to support the International Ballet Competition and $3,500,000.00 for the Building Fund for the Arts.

Reappropriates $3,288,781.00 from the Capital Expense Fund for the Building for the Arts project as authorized in House Bill 1822 from the 2024 Regular Session.
