Appropriates $6,262,007.00 from the State General Fund to the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning for operation and maintenance of the Forest and Wildlife Research Center for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).

Authorizes $1,369,899.00 in special source funds for the Forest and Wildlife Research Center, with $450,000.00 of that amount derived from the Education Enhancement Fund.

Reappropriates $1,000,000.00 from the Capital Expense Fund for Deer Lab renovations, limited to unexpended balances remaining as of June 30, 2025.

Prohibits general funds from replacing withdrawn federal or special funds used for salaries and requires special source funds used to match federal grants to be reported to the Legislature.

Effective July 1, 2025.
