Authorizes the Mississippi Commissioner of Insurance to apply for a State Innovation Waiver under Section 1332 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 USC Section 18052)

Amends Section 83-9-253 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 by adding this waiver authority to the Commissioner's existing powers related to health insurance exchanges

The Commissioner already has authority to establish and operate health insurance exchanges, accept federal funds, create advisory committees, and engage actuarial services without standard procurement requirements

Takes effect immediately upon passage
