Requires the Joint Legislative PEER Committee to review and evaluate performance outcomes of TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) subcontracts and subgrants awarded by the Department of Human Services at least once every two years

Mandates examination of how subcontractors, subgrantees, and lower-tier subrecipients expended TANF funds and whether expenditures met program requirements or goals

Requires the committee to prepare and submit a findings report to all members of the Legislature

First report must be submitted no later than February 1, 2027

Takes effect July 1, 2026
