Establishes the Mississippi Minimum Wage Act setting a state minimum wage of $10.00 per hour for most employees

Sets a lower minimum wage of $3.62 per hour for tipped employees who customarily receive more than $30.00 per month in tips

Requires overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate for employees earning $684.00 or less per week, with no exemptions for manual laborers, blue collar workers, first responders, or employees whose primary duties do not involve management

Amends existing state law to reference the new state minimum wage while maintaining the prohibition on counties and municipalities from establishing their own local minimum wage rates

Effective date of July 1, 2026
