Rating Bureau required to consider all water sources, including alternative supplies like ponds, lakes, and rivers, when grading fire departments; alternative water supply standard set at 250 gallons per minute for one hour

Fire truck evaluations must be based on mileage, condition, and maintenance rather than age; Rating Bureau must publish grading guidelines on its website by January 30 of each applicable year

Commissioner of Insurance must adopt rules governing fire truck sales, requiring counties and municipalities to offer fire trucks to other in-state entities before selling to out-of-state buyers

Insurers prohibited from adjusting rates above the base rates developed by the Mississippi State Rating Bureau, with the Commissioner required to adopt implementing regulations; effective July 1, 2026
