Directs the Division of Medicaid to apply for a federal waiver allowing Medicaid beneficiaries aged 21 and older to receive an additional pair of eyeglasses within the standard 5-year coverage period

Coverage for the additional eyeglasses requires documentation that the beneficiary's refraction (vision prescription) has changed during the 5-year period

A physician skilled in diseases of the eye or an optometrist must determine that new eyeglasses are medically necessary to correct the refraction change

Implementation of the additional eyeglasses coverage is contingent upon approval of the federal waiver by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Amends Section 43-13-117 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which governs Medicaid coverage for care and services
