Secretary of State must develop and maintain a centralized, statewide election night reporting system to provide real-time public access to election results through their website

Election officials must submit an initial results report within 1 hour after polls close, followed by updates every 30 minutes until all votes are recorded

The chair of the board of election commissioners (or designee) receives $150 additional compensation per election night for reporting duties

Municipal elections are exempt from these election night reporting requirements

The act takes effect July 1, 2026, but contains a contradictory repeal date of June 30, 2026
