Allows parents, foster parents, or next of kin to appeal decisions by the Department of Human Services or Child Protection Services regarding foster care issues to the chancery court in their county of residence

Appeals for termination of parental rights remain excluded from this new appeal process, as those are governed separately under Section 93-15-133

Amends Section 43-15-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to add this appeal right

Effective date is July 1, 2026
