Amends Section 67-1-83 of Mississippi Code to remove Sunday from the list of prohibited sales days for package retailer's permit holders under the Local Option Alcoholic Beverage Control Law

Package retailers would still be prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages on Christmas Day

Sales hours remain restricted to between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. for package retailers engaged solely in retail sales

Violations remain a misdemeanor punishable by up to $500 fine, up to six months in county jail, or both, plus potential permit revocation

Effective date: July 1, 2026
