Amends Mississippi Public Records Act to define "personally identifiable information" (PII) as any information that can be used to distinguish or trace an individual's identity, requiring case-by-case assessment of identification risk

Defines "protected PII" as a person's name combined with sensitive data including Social Security number, home address, driver's license number, date/place of birth, phone numbers, financial accounts, personnel records, tax information, passport number, mother's maiden name, criminal/medical/financial records, or educational transcripts

Exempts both PII and protected PII from public disclosure requirements under the Mississippi Public Records Act

Takes effect July 1, 2026, but contains a sunset clause repealing the act on June 30, 2026, creating a contradiction that would make the law effective for zero days
