Requires individuals arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) to remain in law enforcement custody for a minimum of 6 hours before release for any purpose

Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-11-30, which governs DUI offenses including driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, or any impairing substance

Applies to all DUI violations regardless of offense level, from first-time offenders to those with multiple prior convictions

Takes effect July 1, 2026
