Amends Mississippi Code sections 49-17-505 through 49-17-527 to align state lead-based paint certification requirements with federal regulations under 40 CFR Part 745

Removes specific state education and experience prerequisites (high school diploma, bachelor's degree, years of experience) for risk assessors, project designers, supervisors, renovators, inspectors, dust sampling technicians, and workers, replacing them with federal requirements

Eliminates numerous state-specific definitions (abatement, child-occupied facility, clearance levels, lead-based paint hazard, renovation, target housing, etc.) and defers to federal definitions in 40 CFR Part 745

Establishes that all training must include a hands-on portion and training certificates are valid for up to three years; individual certifications are valid for one year and must be renewed annually

Requires project notification forms to be submitted prior to lead-based paint abatement or renovation projects, with fees determined based on information provided in the notification
