Requires state agencies to include the estimated cost to the state in all notices of proposed rule adoption

Mandates that proposed rules costing $200,000 or more per year, or $600,000 or more over three years, must be sent to all Mississippi legislators with a summary of the economic impact statement at no cost to legislators

Authorizes legislative committee chairmen to review, object to, and make written recommendations on high-cost proposed rules within 30 days of receiving the summary

Requires Governor approval for rules meeting the cost thresholds to take effect; if the Governor does not approve or object within 30 days of receiving the filed rule, it becomes effective automatically

Takes effect July 1, 2026
