Increases the 18th Circuit Court District's full-time legal assistants (assistant district attorneys) from 2 to 3 immediately, and from 4 to 8 effective January 1, 2027.

Adds the 18th Circuit Court District to the group authorized to appoint 3 full-time criminal investigators, up from the standard 1 investigator allowed for all districts.

Makes additional staffing changes to other districts: 1st District increases from 10 to 11 legal assistants, 15th District increases from 7 to 8, and the 14th District's scheduled reduction is eliminated.

Effective January 1, 2027, the 9th, 20th, and 21st Circuit Court Districts will also receive additional legal assistants, while the 23rd District's authorized positions will be repealed.

Takes effect July 1, 2026.
