Extends the repeal date of Section 25-15-15 (governing the State and School Employees Insurance Fund and premium collection) from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2029

State provides 100% health insurance cost for full-time state and school employees hired before January 1, 2006, and 100% of basic coverage for those hired on or after that date

Board may assess active full-time employees up to $20.00 per month toward their premium regardless of hire date

Applies to employees of state agencies, local school districts, colleges, universities, community and junior colleges, and public libraries working at least 20 hours per week

Takes effect July 1, 2026
