Appropriates $21,383,775 from the State General Fund and $252,063,752 from special funds for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027)

Authorizes 380 total positions (210 permanent, 170 time-limited) with $33,960,548 allocated for personal services including salaries, wages, and fringe benefits

Allocates $6,868,000 for Clean Water Grant matching funds and $2,000,000 for the Dam Safety Grant Program

Designates $1,000,000 for contamination assessment and remediation projects related to the 2020 EnPro settlement and $250,000 for environmental protection activities from the Pollution Emergency Fund

Sets pollution control performance targets including 75% of counties meeting National Ambient Air Quality standards, 56% of waters meeting quality standards for designed use, and 99% of high hazard dams having emergency action plans
