Appropriates $1,686,731 from the State General Fund and $2,699,838 from special funds to the Mississippi Arts Commission for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027)

Allocates $1,168,500 for personal services covering 11 permanent and 2 time-limited employee positions, with salaries and fringe benefits

Designates $1,490,000 from the Education Enhancement Fund for arts education programs, including $1,040,000 for the Whole Schools Initiative, $350,000 for miscellaneous grants, and $100,000 for educator training

Reappropriates $3,600,000 from the Capital Expense Fund for the Building Fund for the Arts, continuing authorization from the 2025 First Extraordinary Session

Allows the Arts Commission to retain up to 1% of Building Fund monies for administrative costs of the grant program
