Expands Medicaid eligibility to adults under 65 years of age who are not pregnant, not enrolled in Medicare, and have income at or below 133% of the federal poverty level, as authorized by the Affordable Care Act

Provides Medicaid coverage for children under 19 years of age with family income between 133% and 200% of the federal poverty level through the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

Requires newly eligible adults under the expansion to receive benchmark or benchmark-equivalent coverage as specified under federal Social Security Act provisions

Repeals the Mississippi Children's Health Insurance Program Act (Sections 41-86-1 through 41-86-15), consolidating children's coverage under the Medicaid program

Takes effect July 1, 2026
