Offenders on probation or parole in Mississippi may earn 30 days reduction in supervision time for every 30 days of participation in faith-based activities or faith-based sponsored activities, effective July 1, 2026

Earned-discharge credits for faith-based participation are in addition to existing credits that allow one day off per day of compliance with supervision conditions

A designated leader of the faith-based entity must submit a monthly report by the 15th of the following month to the Department of Corrections documenting the offender's participation

The Mississippi Department of Corrections must establish rules and regulations to administer the faith-based earned-discharge program

Offenders on the intensive supervision program are also eligible for faith-based participation credits
