Creates the Mississippi Curriculum Alignment Task Force to review and recommend ways to align curriculum between secondary (high school) and post-secondary education levels statewide

Task force consists of 15 members including education officials, workforce development representatives, and legislative committee chairs from both chambers, with appointments made by the Speaker of the House, Lieutenant Governor, and Executive Director of Workforce Development

Duties include studying curriculum alignment, examining high school and community college experiences, analyzing Carnegie unit requirements, calculating necessary funding, and identifying needed state law changes

Task force must meet at least monthly, provide monthly reports to the Legislature, and submit a final report with recommendations and proposed legislation by December 1, 2026, at which point it dissolves

Mississippi Department of Education provides staff support; members receive no compensation but may be reimbursed for mileage and expenses
