Removes felony embezzlement (under Sections 97-11-25 and 97-23-19) from the list of crimes that cannot be expunged in Mississippi

Allows individuals convicted of felony embezzlement to petition for expungement 5 years after successfully completing all terms of their sentence, provided they have paid all fines and court costs

Maintains the existing list of nonexpungeable felonies including crimes of violence, first-degree arson, drug trafficking, repeat DUI offenses, felon in possession of firearm, failure to register as sex offender, voyeurism, witness intimidation, and abuse/neglect/exploitation of vulnerable persons

Limits felony expungement eligibility to one conviction per person, with "one conviction" including all charges arising from the same set of facts

Takes effect July 1, 2026
