Appropriates $2,500,000 from the State General Fund to Mississippi Valley State University for the Student Success and Workforce Readiness Strategy for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027)

Allocates $728,000 for modernizing technology infrastructure to improve student performance, increase retention and graduation rates, expand digital recruitment, and enhance career readiness

Allocates $1,772,000 for key personnel positions that directly support student retention, academic progress, and career readiness

Funds flow through the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning to the university

Takes effect July 1, 2026
