Extends the repeal date for Jackson County's hotel/motel tourism tax from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2030

The tax is levied at 2% per overnight room rental on all hotels and motels in Jackson County

Revenue must be used solely for tourism promotion, either by the Board of Supervisors directly or through allocation to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau or other tourism-related entities

The tax was originally authorized in 2015 and requires 60% voter approval in a referendum to be imposed

Tax proceeds are collected by the Mississippi Department of Revenue and distributed to the county, with mandatory annual independent audits if funds go to the Convention and Visitors Bureau
