Restores the right to vote (suffrage) to Sylvester Montgomery of Copiah County, Mississippi

Montgomery was convicted of Residential Burglary in Copiah County and sentenced on April 26, 1990, to 5 years with the Mississippi Department of Corrections

He received a second Residential Burglary conviction on April 19, 1994, with another 5-year sentence, and an Embezzlement conviction on November 16, 2000, with a 6-year sentence

Montgomery was released from custody on November 21, 2001, and the Legislature states he has since conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen

The act takes effect immediately upon passage
