Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-35-47 to create specific penalties for false reports of crimes or emergencies at public or private K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions that disrupt normal operations

Adults convicted of false school emergency reports face up to 5 years in county jail, fines up to $10,000, or both

Minors adjudicated for false school reports must receive a minimum of 120 hours community service, fines up to $10,000, or both

Minors who violate their sentence terms face 10-15 days in juvenile detention for contempt

Courts may order restitution to law enforcement agencies for investigation costs; effective date is July 1, 2026
