Expands the Law Enforcement Officers and Fire Fighters Disability Benefits Trust Fund to cover county road employees and municipal public works employees who are injured while performing official duties

Defines "county road employees" as individuals employed by a county road manager who actively engage in working on and maintaining roads and bridges

Defines "municipal public works employees" as individuals employed by a municipal department who actively engage in maintaining roads and bridges

Covered individuals receive monthly disability payments equal to 34% of their regular base salary at the time of injury, for up to 12 months per injury, when accidentally or intentionally injured in the line of duty

Takes effect July 1, 2026
