Prohibits all state and local government entities, educational institutions, and their employees from adopting policies that limit, restrict, or interfere with federal immigration law enforcement

Requires full cooperation with federal immigration authorities, including compliance with ICE detainer requests and providing information on all non-citizens when requested by federal, state, or local agencies

Waives sovereign immunity for any government entity or employee that violates the prohibition, allowing them to be sued under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act

Authorizes the Attorney General to investigate and prosecute any government entity or employee alleged to be in violation of the anti-sanctuary provisions

Takes effect July 1, 2026
