Designates September 11 of each year as Patriot's Day in Mississippi to remember the 2,977 people killed and those injured during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania

Amends Section 3-3-7 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which governs state legal holidays and days of recognition

Patriot's Day would be a commemorative day of remembrance, not a legal state holiday (similar to Elvis Aaron Presley Day and Tuskegee Airmen Day under current law)

Takes effect immediately upon passage
