Establishes salary schedules for sworn officers of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division within the Department of Public Safety, with salaries ranging from $54,000 for entry-level troopers/agents to $131,750 for Colonels.

Salary increases are based on years of experience at thresholds of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, and 29 years, with promotional ranks (Master Sergeant through Colonel) receiving additional experience-based pay scales.

Full-time sworn officers' rank and salary are determined by their status as of July 1 of each fiscal year, and non-merit-based rank assignments require State Personnel Board approval.

Requires the Department of Public Safety to report staffing data to the Legislative Budget Office and State Fiscal Officer to enable proper budgeting for officer compensation.

Takes effect July 1, 2026.
