Eliminates the bond requirement for deputy circuit court clerks in Mississippi, effective July 1, 2026

Deputy clerks will still be required to take the oath of office before performing their duties

Removes the previous bond requirement of 3% of collectible state and county taxes, which ranged from $50,000 to $100,000

Circuit court clerks retain authority to appoint deputy clerks with approval from the court or judge in vacation

Amends Section 9-7-123 of the Mississippi Code of 1972
