Moves the 22nd Circuit Court District from the group allowed 2 total criminal investigators to the group allowed 3 total investigators, adding 2 additional investigator positions

Until January 1, 2031, the 22nd Circuit Court District attorney may appoint up to 3 full-time criminal investigators (up from 2)

After January 1, 2031, the provision for the 22nd District reverts, removing it from the 3-investigator tier

Criminal investigator compensation remains capped at $75,000 annually, with additional supplements available for investigators with law degrees
